We had a great weekend. The sun has finally come out, there are buds on the trees and even a few flowers are starting to pop up. Saturday evening we headed down to Quantico to visit with the Krider family. They will be moving in a week down to their new station in Pensacola, Florida. I am sure this will be an exciting new chapter in their life. The evening was filled with catching up and great food.

I enjoyed holding 3 month old Gabe, he is really growing and loves to laugh. Austin is such a great big brother and loves to help take care of his little brother. It turns out he is also a great junior bowler. He even has his own bowling ball specially fitted for his little hands.

Today we decided to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day one day early with a traditional lunch at Irelands Four Courts. It was so good! I think I had enough to last me through tomorrow, but it was well worth it.

Afterwards P.A. and I went out for the perfect March time activity, flying a kite. I had seen them earlier and decided I just had to have one.

Of course there were no regular kites. My choices were Spiderman, Disney Princesses and Toy Story. I went with the princesses of course. We walked Angel and her friend Bailey down to the park to fly the kite. It was so much fun. We managed to keep the kite out of the trees and in the sky. I can’t wait till we can go out again!
